These designs are fantastic. They're adorable, yet savage. I especially like the one on the right. They're from Christopher Kane's Spring 2009 collection.

Apparently he's scheduled to launch a line of t-shirts in May! The four primate prints will include the gorilla, the chimpanzee, the mandrill and the baboon. I want them all! Here's the baboon:

I love the idea of making prints from wildlife photography without any ugly framing white space, so that the photo completely covers the material. I wish I could make a dress with a print of a really gruesome predation scene, like a bunch of bloody-muzzled lions devouring a freshly killed zebra in the African savanna. That would really make an impression. It would be perfect for so many occasions, such as:

• going on a first date
• attending a briss
• meeting a vegetarian friend for lunch at a vegetarian restaurant
• going to a job interview
• conducting a job interview

It would be my power suit.
