Sorry for being a deadbeat blogger. I spent most of the past week in the SF Bay Area where, among other things, I bought this fantastic furry-eared hat. I also ate at my favorite sushi place, where I wait with giddy anticipation for the Honey Walnut Roll to come floating by and shudder at the plates of tiny octopi; saw bunches of seals swimming in the bay while walking across the Golden Gate Bridge; had my first Bahn Mi (a Vietnamese sandwich), a new food that I can complain about Madison not having a good enough version of; pet sea stars and marveled at sea dragons while drinking beer and listening to electronic music at the California Academy of Sciences; and devoured a ridiculous amount of fresh Dungeness crab with some great friends. I'll most likely be returning to the Bay Area soon. On the way home, Noah and I gave up our seats on the flight back from Chicago in exchange for a pair of bus tickets to Madison and two round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental US!

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos from the trip because I need a new camera.
