Schlager Sabbath

This is German schlager duo Cindy and Bert's reinterpretation of Black Sabbath's Paranoid as a song about The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Schlager is sentimental, melodic German pop music and Cindy and Bert were kinda like the German equivalent of Captain & Tennille. So, imagine Captain & Tennille covering Black Sabbath. Cindy and Bert decided that the lyrics to Paranoid were just a little too dark for their delicate audience so they instead made the song about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles. Here is the breed they chose to represent the ferocious demon dog of British mythology:

Pekingese

Ahhh!! Kill it! Kill it with fire!

Phew. Is it dead?

Spectral Pekingese from hell!

Aaahhh!!!

And thus, a legend was born.
